The Birth of TLR (The Lone Ranger)
WELCOME TO MY VIRTUAL CRIB! No really, welcome to The Lone Ranger!
I know some of you may be thinking “ah, what venture is Banke pursuing now?” I tend to be a little impulsive when pursuing certain ideas, but the launch of this platform is something that I have had in mind for quite some time. Back when I was in college, I ran a fashion blog titled “With Love, Banke.” The blog is now defunct, however you can still find digital recollections of my past fashion nightmares online (don’t tell me I didn’t warn you).
About a year or two into running With Love, Banke the name The Lone Ranger (TLR) came to mind but I was in too deep with my fashion blog that I completely abandoned the idea; however, I still kept the The Lone Ranger in the archive section of my brain. Little did I know that I would pull it out of the archives in the future.
Fast forward to 2020. A year that I unofficially dubbed A. HOT. MESS. OF. A. YEAR. It is safe to say that 2020 hands down was a challenging year for everyone but, had it not been for the events that were birthed during that year, I would have never came back to my idea of the The Lone Ranger. In the midst of my FaceTime shoots, quarantinis, and Netflix binge sessions I had an epiphany. It was time to launch TLR.
The Lone Ranger is an accumulation of my eclectic thoughts. This platform is designed to educate, help and provide some comedic relief for people across the globe.The Lone Ranger will serve as a digital platform created for millennials but open to consumption by all age groups. TLR will discuss topics such as career advice, dating, art and navigating in the corporate world as a millennial.
The Lone Ranger is an accumulation of my eclectic thoughts. This platform is designed to educate, help and provide comedic relief for millennials across the globe.
